Defining variables for Trados
A list of terms or product names that should not be translated can be defined as variables within Trados Workbench, so that they do not display as translatable text but as blue placeables.
Open the TM you want to use for the job. Go to File > Setup and select the Substitutions tab. Tick the Variables box and paste in the list of terms you do not want translated. Click OK.
